I offer a bespoke service to craft a unique, meaningful piece that truly resonates with you. This process is one of conversation, idea-sharing, thoughtful sourcing, and dedication to form, colour, and texture.
It is always an honour to create something so deeply personal, destined to be carried and cherished for years to come.
I’m based on Nicholson St, East Brunswick, where we can meet in person to discuss designs, explore textures and forms, and select gems. If you're outside Melbourne, we can connect via phone or online, sharing images to bring your dream piece to life.

So, what's next?
The Bespoke Process
Bespoke pieces generally take anywhere between 3-8 weeks from our initial conversation to completion. Pricing starts at $3000, and the process rolls out like this -
1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a conversation. There's no commitment at this stage, it's a chance to share ideas, look at materials and existing works together, and start imagining your piece.
2. Design Fee & Development
When you're ready to move forward, I will issue you an invoice for a design fee of $500. This confirms your project and is the point at which I begin designing and sourcing for you. This fee is credited in full to the cost of your final piece.
Within two weeks I'll present one or two design directions. We'll refine from there until it feels right. Once the design is settled, I'll provide a quote valid for 7 days. Material prices can shift, so beyond that window may require requoting.
3. Production Deposit & Making
Once the design and quote is approved I will issue and invoice for a 50% production deposit. This confirms your order and gets me to the bench. This deposit is non-refundable.
4. Completion & Delivery
When your piece is ready, you're welcome to collect it from the studio, or I can send it to you via registered express Australia Post. An invoice for the remaining balance issued, and is settled at this stage.

Further design amendments
The design fee covers two design presentations. If significant amendments or additional options are needed beyond that, a further design deposit applies - $750 for one piece, $1,000 for two. This is credited to your final order.
Bringing your own gems
Incorporating stones you already own into a new piece is something I love to do. There are just a couple of small steps before we begin, both straightforward, and both there to protect your stones, your investment, and the integrity of the finished work.
If your stones are still set in existing jewellery, they'll need to be removed first. I can arrange this for you, or you're welcome to have it done independently beforehand, whichever is easier. A handling fee applies.
Once loose, the stones will need a quick assessment by a reputable gemmologist to confirm their identity and suitability for setting. I can organise this on your behalf, or point you in the right direction if you'd prefer to handle it yourself. An assessment fee applies in both cases.

Bringing your own precious metal
If you have metal you'd like to contribute to your piece, there are two options.
The first is to sell your metal to a bullion dealer at current market rates, with the value credited toward your commission. This is generally the simpler path for both of us.
The second is for me to work directly with your metal, cleaning, smelting, and preparing it for use. This is a labour-intensive process, and a process fee applies, quoted at consultation based on the work involved.
