Field Work
Field Work is a collection of precious rings (Field Notes) designed as standalone pieces or stackable assemblages. The guiding metaphor is scientific fieldwork, the naturalist's notebook, the specimen tray, the act of careful observation recorded in the field over time, that is YOUR field over time.
The concept emerged directly from a recurring enquiries from lovely clients wanting to combine different stones, colours, and forms within a single ring to represent people, places, and dates. Field Work gives that impulse a material and intellectual framework, positioning it not as sentimental memorial jewellery but as something closer to rigorous, personal notation.
A single ring might be one complete observation and summarisation of an event, a. A stack might be a journey through or gathering of these things over time.
